Zulay Shenao is a Colombian born. She is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most famous part was as Esperanza for the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If the love you have for someone isn't not right'. She also has appeared in many films like Illegal Tender Takers, 'Illegal Tender,' Boy Wonder,' and True Memoirs of an International Assassin. She was born in Medellin Antioquia Colombia as a child and moved with her family to the USA in the age of four. Henao was stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina and served for three years as a soldier in the U.S. Army. She was a student at Methodist College during this time. She later studied acting from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts as well as a range of jobs that were not hers before starting off her acting career. Since 2014, she's been in a relationship with American actor Joel Rush. The actress was previously involved with the actor Terrace Howard. Henao puts her family as her first priority.

Maria Menounos

As she was caring for her mother who suffers from Stage 4 brain cancer Maria found out she was in the midst of an illness of her own. In February 2014 Menounos started experiencing troubling symptoms. She tells PEOPLE that she had been suffering from headaches and lightheadedness from February 2014. "My speech was slurred. It was also difficult for me to comprehending the prompter on the teleprompter." Menounos was diagnosed with a meningioma-sized brain tumor. A MRI confirmed this. Menounos booked an appointment to see her mother's neurosurgeon, Dr. Keith L. Black. The surgeon scheduled the surgery on June 8 for Menounos' 39th birthday. He told her, "I am 98 percent positive that the tumor is not malignant, but we'll never know until we actually get there," The complex procedure, lasting about 7 hours the surgeon Dr. Black was able to remove 99.9 per cent of the cancer.
